About Safeguard Wills
Safeguard Wills was established in 2019 by Karl Marriot and Daniel Tillson to offer a better solution to their clients, where over 60% of the UK population either don’t have a Will or have an outdated one. They wanted to make sure as many people as possible can leave those things important to them, to those closest.
From January 2021, we will be working in partnership with Tomorrow’s Forests who plant trees to create forests in the UK to fight climate change.
Safeguard Wills Ltd is a proud member of the Society of Will writers. The Society of Will Writers was established in 1994 as an independent body representing the professional Will Writer and the interests of the consumer. Today, the Society is the largest trade body within our profession and has members throughout the world. Their Code of Practice, ethics and philosophy puts the consumer at the heart of their aims to ensure that through our membership you receive the very best of service.

Daniel Tillson
Sales Director
Having worked in various regulated compliance and sales roles in financial services since 2005, Daniel has vast knowledge and contacts in the industry. He and Karl setup Safeguard Wills to offer a better solution to their clients, where over 60% of the UK population either don’t have a Will or have an outdated one.
Karl Marriott
Director and Senior Will Writer
Senior Will Writer and Estate Planner by day (well mostly evenings actually), Karl has a fondness for travelling and an international pub quiz master! His background is in commercial construction and project management, so in his spare time continues to work on his property empire.
Lizzy Clarke
Senior Will Writer
Lizzy is experienced in Will writing, lasting power of attorneys and assisting on probate cases having spent several years working in an established solicitors firm. She takes pride in ensuring her clients needs are met in a friendly and professional manner.

Trainee Will Writer & Assistant
Debs has worked within the finance sector for 9 years doing various roles within retail banking. She loves being behind the scenes, covering a vast range of different tasks with every day being different.

Tomorrows Forest
Safeguard Wills are happy to partner with Tomorrows Forest and help to combat the effect of climate change.
From humble beginnings six years ago, planting trees for private estates and commercial forestry projects, Tomorrows Forest have now planted just short of 8 million trees here in the UK. Their approach to planting trees is based on ecologically friendly methods, looking at individual sites, surveying the land to decide what should naturally be growing there, and implementing the planting programme with native trees.
